Postptartum Honoring Circle
Inspired by Prenatal Celebration Circles, Melissa Abernathy, Emily Bayus, and Ana Paliza-Brown - members of the Full Circle Holistic and Mothertree Team!- are now offering Postpartum Honoring Circles—a tender space for new mothers to be held, witnessed, and supported in the sacred unfolding of matrescence.
This chapter of life—the threshold of becoming a mother—asks everything of us. It is powerful, vulnerable, beautiful, and often unseen. In modern culture, postpartum care often focuses only on the baby, when what is most needed is to mother the mother—to gather around her with presence, care, and reverence for what she is going through.
We are not meant to do this alone.
Postpartum Honoring Circles are a call back to community: to remind new mothers they are not alone, they are not invisible, and their experience matters. These circles offer connection, affirmation, and support in navigating the emotional, physical, and spiritual transformation of early motherhood.
This circle is open to women in the early postpartum period (within one year of giving birth) with their babies, as well as to women beyond this stage who feel called to support mothers navigating the early days of this profound transformation.

Birth Story Medicine Circle
When we lived as a village, women would share their pregnancy, birth and mothering stories around the water well or fire. In our modern society, our first introduction to birth is often in dramatic, fear-based depictions in the media.
Giving birth is a transformational time in every woman's life. Matrescence - the physical, emotional, hormonal and social transition to becoming a mother - is an important rite of passage that deserves to be witnessed.
Birth Story Medicine Circles are sacred containers for us to share birth stories (if you want to), and heal birth trauma through compassionate, ceremonial witnessing. Facilitated by Rebecca, we will review guidelines for conscious listening, speaking non-arguably, and giving feedback.
“I want to say thank you. I have always really appreciated the circles and book clubs you have facilitated...I am so grateful you hold that space for women. I am still in such shock at the way our medical system treats women, but especially pregnant women, and even more so pregnant women of color, and I am so grateful you have carved out a space in Louisville to do this work.”

Yoga for Women Support Circle
Join Ana Paliza-Brown of Root and Rise Louisville for a Therapeutic Yoga class designed to support deep healing and offer tools you can carry with you off the mat.
This class was born in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, created as a safe space for mothers to connect and find grounding tools during an uncertain time. It quickly became a powerful and nourishing offering—so much so that Ana has dreamed of bringing it back ever since.
The Mothertree has inspired her to do just that, but this time, the circle is expanding. What was once a class just for mothers is now a space for all women.
This 7-month series follows the path of the seven chakras. Each month, we’ll explore one chakra through postures, mudras (hand gestures), breathing practices, and yoga Nidra—all designed to cultivate the core qualities of that energy center. Come to one class, a few, or all seven!
Open to women of all ages and stages, this class honors the full arc of womanhood—maiden, matriarch, wild woman, and wise woman. Together, we’ll revive the intergenerational wisdom of shared space and collective practice.
Sliding scale $18 to $28 per class.

Birth Chart Blueprint with Rachel VerValin
Things are better understood when they’re built from the ground up. In this interactive workshop we will dive into each participant’s personal natal chart using information gathered from popular Astrology apps - like Co-star + Chani - to create and talk about each person’s natal chart from the ground up.
First we will discuss each of the 12 houses of the basic natal chart. Then, we will each find and map which unique house each sign of the zodiac is in for our own personal charts.
There will be stickers and coloring for fun, and to also help guests ground even more into their own personal chart.
After we complete marking all of the signs in each individual’s chart, we will then look at where the planets are placed within that chart, and add those in as well. $44
